This is expensive scrap! I have a Dell S2817Q monitor + VESA mounting bracket. The first problem is when I install this on a monitor it is not persistent. I don't think it's sustainable! A slight vibration on the table is amplified for the monitor itself (vibration resonance). So when I type, my monitor basically jumps up and down. The second problem: It is not fixed. Does the job perfectly. It fits snugly in my Dell monitor making it VESA compliant. The ONLY downside (and this is a personal downside to my particular monitor setup, not a product fault so I didn't deduct any stars) is that it doesn't line up perfectly with the back of the monitor, and so on if you like horizontal monitors I use, he is slightly further than his companion. I will buy again without hesitation. Good price to fix an issue on my existing monitor and keep it!

Due to the way this arm connects to the monitor, the centerline of the VESA arm is a few inches *below* the centerline of the monitor. As a result, the monitor sits *higher* on any VESA mount than most monitors with built-in VESA mounts, which are typically centered vertically at screen height. To use it with a dual mount monitor stand (where the VESA mounts are on the same horizontal plane) I had to make a new adapter mount to mount between that mount and the VESA mount.
