Some fans use 1/2 inch diameter studs.

The fan we ordered had a 1/2" standing thread for the motor but I only had a 3/4" thread. Ordered this 1/2" lower rod, arrived very quickly and fits perfectly.

Works as intended and is of high quality

Bought two 24" extensions for my Hunter Contempo to mount at the recommended height for 11ft ceilings. The staff is manufactured by Hunter and is perfectly matched in quality and color to the fan. Great price at $10 each and highly recommend.

Sturdy and perfect length

I had some hanging rods and fans in this room. For some reason the builder installed the fan hook right where the two slopes of the roof meet. All the bars and fans I had previously installed were shaking. I'm very glad I found this. No shaking and perfect length!

NOT Hunter but will work with Hunter fans

I was disappointed but will not be returning the bottom bar. I needed this fast so ordered this 'Hunter Brand' rod but ended up with this 'not as advertised' rod (not Hunter brand). It screws into a Hunter fan and the color is pretty similar - after all, the bottom bar and fan are used on a 12ft ceiling. As this is not a genuine Hunter branded product, you can look for other threaded rods which may be cheaper.

and it feels well built and sturdy. However

Generally a solid thing. The look and feel will match any brushed nickel ceiling fan (I have several) and it looks well built and sturdy. My only complaint, however, is that the holes don't line up with the ground wire screws on most original bars, and the threaded holes appear to be made in a way that causes the filaments to bend around the holes, causing the filaments to twist. stop screwing when the threads in the ceiling fan housing line up with the holes. These things are actually less of…
