An elegant fan that is difficult to install and operate

We have four Hunter fans in our house so we are loyal to the brand and generally like this product. This model called Dempsey is elegant and modern. It has four blades, a compact brushed nickel body and an LED that never goes out. Sounds amazing! But damn, this thing was PAINFUL to put together. The screws are in odd places and it's difficult to align the blades. Wiring is a nightmare because this thing has no pull chains or manual controls. Good luck with the remote control. My favorite of the three fans we installed.

So we recently moved into an apartment with no overhead lights or fans. I think this is a BYOCF (Bring Your Own Ceiling Fan) situation. And because we're Vine reviewers, we were able to get three different ceiling fans to test out, which isn't ideal for creating a consistent look, but perfect for comparing different ceiling fans. Decent fan, some retrofit and home automation issues

I bought a ceiling fan from Hunter with adjustable LED light and remote control from Whie - BN 52 inch brushed nickel to get the terrible cheap building ceiling fan combo kit replacing and reporting in 1999. Aesthetically black wings, brushed nickel finishes, and an LED-lit dome were chosen to update the space (all hardware has already been switched to brushed nickel). Very quiet when moving large volumes of air. Good remote control. Attractive and modern ceiling fan.

Our old ceiling fan from the 80's was looking pretty dated. This Brushed Nickel Hunter fan looks way better. This is similar to updating our dining room, although we only updated the ceiling fan. Fan blades have two sides. One is a darker brown wood color and the other is black with a woody texture. We chose brown because it goes better with our floor and the rest of the room than black.
