Love the fit and stiffness of this hat. I made the mistake of washing the first item in the washing machine so I bought a second one.

My boyfriend doesn't like the fit of this hat even though I bought his typical size. We almost got him back but he really likes wearing hats, I think it's like a protective blanket for him. I may have completely missed it in your description but this is a flex fit design so there are some advantages if your head size is in that range. I wish these companies would use a standard measurement, but they don't. If it helps, I actually googled the difference in the size chart and my 7 1/4 head sits right in the middle of this cap's S/M fit. Otherwise, I love the minimalistic and sophisticated design of the Hurley baseball cap, so I will definitely be wearing this cap for a long time.
