I bought this little set to make some gift tags. Some stamps are not arranged alphabetically and appear to have been put together by someone who did not know our alphabet, making it difficult to find the correct letter. Also, the labels at the end of each stamp are faded and difficult for my middle-aged eyes to read. The ink pads were a nice addition but almost ran out after only a few marks. The value is there but the quality is not. However, we did some tags and had fun.

Nice set of upper and lower case letters and various punctuation marks. I love the vintage and old world feel. The stamp pads are very small. These are not full size ink pads. Two of them were broken, one of them was badly broken. I just want to replace these two ink pads but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that and it's impossible to contact Revain. The product is nice but it arrived very worn and some of the ink pads are damaged or cracked. So for a new product the condition is pretty bad. I like the size of the letters and they don't leave a border around the letter about 75% of the time, so that's not bad. The box is poorly designed making it difficult to close. You have to fight stamps to keep them in place to close them. The ink pads themselves are a nifty concept, I love the multicolored aspect and they have pretty good pigments but…

They are so easy to use that I don't understand all the negative reviews of them being difficult to use. I used them to create headlines and calendars for my bullet magazine. 95% of the time I was able to stamp each letter cleanly with no margins. The wood is a bit darker so the letters are a little hard to read but I usually leave them stamped anyway so I can see what I'm choosing. I like the box, the font and ink pads work well. It was a great price for ink pads, lower and upper case letters AND numbers. I use them often, so I noticed some small inconvenient things. I'm not trying to be picky but things I wish I knew when I ordered them. The wood is much darker than what is shown here so it is difficult to see the letters in contrast to the dark wood.
