Hutzler 3832 WN Plastic Funnel Natural Review

This is a thick, durable funnel with a wide opening that allows you to quickly add dry sand. I sealed the funnel around the base with tape, and the funnel was strong enough to hold the sandbag as it filled. I had a bag of wet sand and had to be vibrated but eventually the sand came through.

Well constructed with a little handle to keep fingers away from the funnel which allows boiling hot liquid to run through I think it's made of either Polypropylene or High Density Polyethylene, both of which can withstand brief contact with boiling liquids, and of course these plastics have always been BPA-free.Convenient kefir filtration funnel paired with a 4.5" Sieve.

I actually bought this funnel to fill the bottom of a punching bag. We had to fill it with more dry sand, but I've read that cat litter was even heavier. I knew that filling the base's muzzle would be a chore and it would take forever as long as we have a large base to fill. This funnel was perfect and got the job done really quickly! Now we are keeping it for my daughter to use on her canning adventures next summer.

SINCE SOMEONE ANSWERED THE QUESTION ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE FUNNEL BY STATING THAT IT WAS 1 INCH IN THE LOWER SIZE AND CONSISTENTLY EXPANDED TO THE BOWL OF THE FUNNEL, I THINK THIS IS FIT. FROM THE OUTER EDGES OF THE FUNNEL WHERE YOU WANT IT IS INSERTED INTO THE HOLE. OTHERWISE IT IS A STRONG LITTLE FUNNEL WITH A SMALL HANDLE AND A COMFORTABLE PLASTIC SCREEN. IT IS EASY TO CLEAN IN THE DISHWASHER OR BY HAND.

This item allows you to quickly and easily fill a gallon of water into a 5 gallon glass bottle. The opening in my glass bottle is much smaller than the 5 gallon plastic water jugs you can buy. You hold this funnel up and it works like a charm. This high quality funnel is easy to clean, dishwasher safe and gets me ready for work in no time in the morning. Haven't used them yet but they look perfect. The large end of each can hopper has an outside diameter. 4.65 inches and the smaller end of the funnel has an outside diameter of 1.96. The height of the funnel is 2 7/8 inches. The handles have a 1/4 inch hole for hanging or whatever.
