Pointed tweezers failed to capture foreign objects when removing fragments from skin. When viewed under a magnifying glass, the tips of these tweezers weren't touching at the ends - they were offset slightly so they converged far from the tip. The wide-tipped tweezers, angled and straight, seemed to connect more precisely on the ends, but I prefer using pointed tweezers for splinters and they didn't work well.

The idea is awesome but the tweezers themselves are terrible! None of the three flat tweezers have smooth, flat edges that can grab hair. Only pointed will be, sometimes it is. A set of 4 has ZERO value if none of them actually plucks. I should have spent more for a well made pair.

You get 4 different tweezers for every need. They are packed in a sturdy leather case. As you can see, the base is thicker at the bottom and narrower at the top, making them so comfortable to hold and use. The sachet protects you from an accidental injection, so you can conveniently put it in your purse, pocket or luggage. The tweezers are sharp so you can pluck with ease. While I prefer waxing to plucking, they definitely come in handy between waxing sessions.

They don't work on fine facial hair which is why I bought them. They appear to be well made and well formed, but none of them can grab and hold the hair. All but one cannot even touch their hair. The bag they come in is exceptionally good. Feels like real soft skin. The tweezers are thick and the quality is above average. You look great. I'm very surprised they don't work. I keep trying them and I think they will work, but unfortunately they don't.

FINALLY! Precision tweezers that can actually grab tiny hairs off my chin! Just getting one of these tweezers would be worth the money. I needed tweezers with a point so I could selectively pluck 1 hair. I paid triple that for tweezers that couldn't grab and hold individual hairs or the tips didn't come together. Now I not only have ONE pair of experts, but 3 more in one beautiful little package!

I had no expectations when I bought this set. Since the price was very cheap, I expected the tweezers to be cheaply made. But this was not the case. When I opened the package the set was in a handy pouch and all the tweezers worked great. Because of the quality I will order this set more often. No complaints.

Great body and price, but in the end it all comes down to how well the tweezers do their job. The tip of the pointed tweezers was about 50% thicker than the precision tweezers I replaced. It was displaced and could not capture short or fine hairs.

I've bought several other sets of tweezers over the years and while they were decent or good at best, this HXL set of tweezers was much better. The variety of shapes/tips helps a lot depending on what area you want to use them on. And the overall feel of the tweezers led me to believe that they would last a very long time and prove to be durable. In addition, the case they came in is also handy to keep them in a closet. In terms of value for money, I think these are the best tweezers I've come…
