HYDAWAY Hydration Travel Collapsible Compact Kitchen & Dining Review

My wife and I travel constantly. We love it when a water bottle is folded up until we get through airport security, refilled at the fountain, and then folded up again when the water runs out. The clip it came with wasn't very strong but we replaced it with one that had lying around so it's working great now.

Found this little gem of a concept at the Atlanta market. Had my own and my son decided he MUST have one too. Everywhere we go with Hydaway bottles, people stop us and ask about them, and we're happy to show off the most ingenious, compact bottle! I would highly recommend it to anyone. We love the special colors and cases. Do not be shy. Buy one. Or five.

I've been using Hydaway products for a long time - I buy them regularly (either friends don't come back or it gets stolen by airport security). They are well made, sturdy, available in different colors, foldable with integrated sipper. case included. This is my container for drinks (water, juices) which I keep both in my backpack and in my luggage. RECOMMEND: Buy a few, yes.

This is a really cool product that looks very useful as you can easily hang it on your bag. As I travel a lot I thought this would be very helpful. The reason I don't like it or recommend it is that it's definitely small and only big enough for a single drink, at least for me. Doesn't look very finished product, very rubbery. And it has a really bad smell. I would have sent it back if I hadn't disposed of the packaging.

I had another collapsible water bottle that was awkward to hold, the water tasted horrible and would not clean. I hate buying single use plastic so I decided to give Hydaway a try. That's wonderful! The water tastes good, the bottle is easy to clean and a full or empty bottle is easy to handle. Doesn't flow a bit! I can put ice cubes in it! how awesome is that I thought I would use it for travel but now it's everywhere with me.

It was the perfect article before COVID I confess without commuting I hardly use it, just a cup. But for the road it was one thing. It was attached to my backpack so it was always with me. It folded and was ultra light (weight does matter considering I walked a lot!), and never leaked. A complete step forward in hydration. The only fair criticism is that it doesn't fit most cup holders. I contend that it doesn't matter for my use case.

Once you get rid of the smell you have an amazing water bottle. The spout does not drip when closed and it is pleasant to drink from. The bottle rolls up and slides out easily. It's enough for a yoga class, an average hike, or when I just need a glass of water. I lost my favorite bottle of Que because it was difficult to carry. It folds up so I can put it away or use the handle/clip to keep it to myself.
