HydraSense for automatic operation. Pump automatically starts when it senses water at 5⁄8 of an inch. Quickly move more water with a heavy duty motor operating at 120V offers strong pumping capacity and long pump life. Versatile hose connections allow a standard garden hose to be connected out of the box or the adapter can be modified to accommodate different hose types. Extra large 3,100 GPH pumping capacity quickly moves water away from locations. 29 ft. Max head and removes water down to less than 5⁄8 of an inch. Optional handle for different applications. As well, the pump includes a check valve that can be removed for increased flow.

As expected, works best in harsh plumbing

Easy to install with a standard garden hose. We use a large bucket to catch water leaks. Emptying the bucket is very easy!

Does not respond to water

The pump will not detect water unless shaken and it may take up to 5 minutes for the pump to turn on. Mine may be defective, but it's not very reliable.

I love this water pump!

This pump is just what we needed. It turns on automatically when there is only 5/8" of water and pumps less than 5/8" before shutting off. Ideal for any application where you must rely on a sudden water spill or basement leak.

So far, so good. in Water Pumps, Parts & Accessories

This summer we had 2 heavy rains that started to flood our basement. Until last year there were no problems with flooding. This pump pumped out the water as fast as it came in and kept most of the basement dry. It's really well built and it's free. As long as it works I'm very happy.
