Flex Sip Lid for Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Bottles Review

I got tired of unscrewing the Hydro Flask cap and didn't want to buy a straw cap. This cover was exactly what I wanted and I love it.

This replaces the pain and hassle of opening a bottle hundreds of times. My fingers started to hurt. I drink a lot of water and this is an absolute steal. Sealed and I don't have to be lazy to open the bottle. Also fits a 32 oz wide mouth bottle.

So glad Hydro Flask came up with this cap design. This makes the glass easy to carry and drink from without getting your nose dirty as was the case with the previous on/off cap. It takes a few minutes to learn how to take it apart for cleaning, but other than that it's amazing. Product.

UPDATE! I opted for a replacement in case the first cap was defective. The second is perfect! There are no leaks at all! I'm very happy to finally have a lid that works as intended. I like that this cap makes it easy to drink from the bottle and less water collects in the spout as this cap is easy to remove and dry out. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it can leak. It happened yesterday when water got on the seat of my car. Not much, but still. I bought this lid because I was looking for something better than the regular flip top Hydroflask coffee lid. This Flex Sip Lid is so much better! No leaks or stains on clothes. I can't stand sucking on straws so I was looking for the best cap option for my large hydro flask. It's a little sippycup-ish, but I like it. This is a good travel cap option so you don't have to open your big flap and pour water all over your shirt. Does not leak when properly installed. Price is fair and the lid is definitely easy to take apart for cleaning and put back together for use and looks like there is ample access everything to do a good cleaning job. This is an excellent lid, an improvement over the standard flip lid except for one major issue which causes it to leak a bit. Plastic edges fray and wash small pieces of rubber into the drink (this was my problem with the standard flip top - rubber pieces were showing after a year of heavy use), this lid seems to be much more durable - it opens by twisting, not pressure - no additional fuses required.
