This cartridge is great - it works great in my reverse osmosis system and helps purify the water I use in my saltwater aquarium. I will definitely keep this on my shopping list to have on hand.

Nice filter but people should be warned that this is a 'dry' filter which means the manufacturer never lets water flow through it. So if you decide to buy this filter, make sure you use all of the water in your reverse osmosis system. about 5 times before drinking it.

The part fitted my Rainsoft 9596 reverse osmosis system perfectly. It worked again after 30 minutes of operation. I am charged $150 for 4 filters. Who knows how long it will take to get out there and get the job done. Search online to do it yourself and save money.
