I could have sworn they were made in the USA but they are not. I will look for the lowest price rather than pay more for what I believe is made in the USA. Visible crack.

I've used one of these for the last two years and am ordering a third. No problem with them, they seem to quell the smell of our raw well water. They appear to be true to size and the packaging actually says they are made in the USA. Updated 3/6/19. My third filter broke and they immediately sent a replacement. Maybe they could better pack them in some sort of soft wrap instead of just a box. The replacement stated that it was also made in the USA.

I bought this and not the last brand I bought from Revain because it has to be made in the USA. Came with a carbon block cracked in two places. This can be recognized by the fact that dust penetrates the filter material from the outside in a ring. I was on vacation for 10 days and didn't want to deal with returns so I decided to install and use it anyway. It's definitely not working 100%, but it's better than nothing. When the water becomes unbearable, I order a new one. The product will likely
