Great Heater: Aquarium Heater

Great Product! Keeps the right temperature in our aquarium and heats up quickly! It is easy to set and maintain the set temperature. Our tank is in the basement, we had a hard time keeping our tank over 68 with 2 heaters in it. Since I received this heater, there have been no more problems! If I could give 10 stars I would!

DO NOT BUY THIS HEATER IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR CORAL AND FISH!

False advertising! I bought 1 and had to replace it because it was getting rusty. This one was COMPLETELY submerged in the swamp and somehow thinks it's out of water. What does that mean? My aquarium has been running without heating for 48 hours, the current temperature is 70 and falling. I hope I don't lose anything. DO NOT BUY

Can be more specific.

My 30 gallon reef tank is set at 81.0* and won't start until the tank drops to 80.0* and then shuts off when it goes back to 81.0 * is heated, but then the temperature continues to rise to 82.4* (due to residual heat in the heater), then slowly drops to 80.0* before turning back on. Not very happy with the temperature difference (2.4*) this heater creates. I have it in the divine flow realm too.

Wrong design? in Fish & Aquatic Pets

Second Hyger heater and same problem. Even the new and "improved" model started to rust after just one week in the freshwater aquarium! And this product should be able to get into the seawater tank? And yet it cannot live a week in fresh water without rusting? Why not encase the heating plate in glass to keep it from rusting? I will send them for a new one and try again to make sure they get it right.

GREAT customer service!

I loved these heater(s) when they first came out, but when they broke the company quickly helped by replacing them. Unfortunately the second failed after the plastic case melted when the water level dropped and the heater wouldn't turn off. The extreme external strength of this device indicates a robust machine. I believe it could be a very good heater in the long run if the manufacturer can fix these little flaws. If so, I would recommend it, but I can't at the moment. The company could not…

Don't believe it! - Fish and Aquatic Animals

Went away for the weekend and when I got home my aquarium was cold and blinking Err - Out of Water. This heater is located in the sump and never leaves the water. I really liked how much power it had for its compact profile, but now I can't trust it anymore. I incorporated it into my palette on November 2, 2020. I recently had a problem with my 120-180 gallon Hygger aquarium heater. I bought it 3 months ago and in about the last week it stopped working and showing an error code. I've been trying for 2 days to get it working again but to no avail. I wrote to the company to let them know what happened. UPDATED UPDATE: The seller corrected the situation but Heather is not working now.

The display stops working after a few hours without water. The temperature should show a few degrees higher than you would like to set correctly. Initially I was very excited and impressed by the two displays, but as I said, the water display stopped working.
