Hykolity Dimmable Ceiling Equivalent Bathroom Review

I particularly liked that the Kelvin (color temperature) can be adjusted as I bought another light in a big store which I had to return as it compared to the other lighting in my kitchen , which was whiter, was too yellow . This one fits perfectly and is cheaper. Didn't need to buy a dimmer as I needed to turn this light on or off over the sink. That works great!

I have two of these for my kitchen: Hykality Dimmable 10" LED Ceiling Light 17W 1100lm 4000K Oil Bronze for $27. Oil Bronze 4000K for 50 $. They are very bright. The 16" is a lot brighter than the 2x 60W CFLs I replaced. The "glass" lens is actually frosted plastic. That looks great. Very light weight. If you receive different sizes, please make sure the "color" is the same. 4000K is a very bright white color.

I bought a 24 inch kitchen version from one of our rental houses. When renovating between tenants, we wanted more light in the kitchen, so we moved the 24" version to the dining room and put the new 32" version in the kitchen. Both have a light color of 5000K, so they are the same in this respect. Install dimmers. I bought 5 of these lights. They are advertised at 160 watts. They're closer to the 60-watt equivalent. Not very bright. This light consumes 20W and is rated at 1300 lumens. I bought this unit to replace a similar unit but although it looks identical it is a lot cheaper. Notable differences: a) diffuser (cover) is made of thin plastic, not glass; b) the LEDs are clustered around the center rather than distributed across the inner surface, and c) the inner surface has no reflective backing to enhance the appearance of the light. This solution is inexpensive and looks good when installed. Installation is easy as it uses a ceiling light stand. Make sure you have enough space around the light fixture (I had closet space where the ceiling light was next to the access hatch to the loft, which required me to make some adjustments to the layout).
