Holds my heavy e-bikes securely and securely. The trunk hardly moves while driving. Would have liked to see a higher quality wheel strap but the ones supplied work well. You won't look back every 10 seconds like you do in some racks where the bikes are constantly moving and you wonder if they're safe or not. Mostly metal with few plastic parts

I bought this to carry 2 e-bikes weighing 70lbs each. There aren't many bike hitches that can handle that kind of weight. This one can and the fact that it's about half the price of others that can handle that much weight is a fantastic deal. Nicely packaged, parts and instructions very well labeled. Took me about an hour to put everything together, nothing complicated. I would highly recommend this carrier to anyone.

This stand bent within the weight limit the first time it was used with two e-bikes. If we hadn't towed the car we would have lost them after 10 hours of use on the highway. I was using an older model Saris that wasn't designed for these heavier bikes and had no problem cycling back and forth from Michigan to Florida, but it didn't provide enough clearance between the e-bikes so I bought a Hyperax 2 E for 140 bikes pounds. .

This bike rack is just what we need for our fat tire e-bikes. Durable and easy to use once you charge and discharge them a few times. One thing - our truck has a 2 1/2" receiver and the original locking pin doesn't fit. Hyperax rushed out with a longer bolt so we could use the lock as designed and we were told it would would be available in future production runs Must love a company that responds quickly and appropriately to customer needs Time to hit the road.

Just assembled and all parts seem sturdy. One problem was that the bolt holding the receiver was too short. The lock didn't work. Had to grind down the lock to give enough room to hook. Haven't used it yet but look forward to trying it out. As an addendum, the company responded to the issue and fixed the issue immediately. They send a longer pin and a new lock. Very impressed with the immediate response and remedy. They said they would have longer pins for all new orders. Great job guys!

Good news. The rack is a solid device. The bikes held up well at 70mph so no problem. The latch closure is really easy to use, good idea. The bad news: note that it is very heavy and will NOT fold onto your car like the more expensive ones. Difficult to remove and store. I can't stress enough that you need to be in good shape to handle this; it's a lot harder than i expected. And takes up a lot of storage space. This would be a 5 star rating because the bike rack was great and worked great when I was able to use it. After this use I tried to remove the locking pin from my hitch receiver and it was very difficult, it took me several attempts to finally unlock it in order to remove the carrier from my machine. Unfortunately, this was the only time I was able to unlock the lock with the tiller pin, which is now locked indefinitely and the key won't move. The same applies to one of the levers that hold the

Haven't ridden a bike on this rack yet (next week) but put it together today. I was impressed by how easy it was to put together and how beautifully designed it was. I assembled it right on the hitch which made it very easy and I would recommend this method to anyone. When the time comes, the wheelbase and frame clamp can be easily adjusted to the bike. It's also worth mentioning that the bike cover I bought is carrier compatible to protect it from inclement weather when traveling. By the way…

Love the quality of the entire bike rack. The design is superb and I can easily pack my 4 x 50lb fat tire bike into a rack - even with my physical limitations. Strong mating surfaces that fit perfectly and are easy to assemble. Folds up easily for storage. Cons - Design Cons: 1.
