🍊 Orange Rescue Essentials Hypothermia Wrap Review

This is one of those things that you get and hopefully never need. It folds tightly into a cute little pouch that fits into almost any emergency kit. Living in South Florida it's even less likely I'll have to use this, but there's still a chance, so I'll keep it on hand. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

I ordered this to add to my emergency bag in case something hits the proverbial fan. I hope I never have to use this blanket, but I'll be very happy if I ever need it. The great thing about it is that it takes up as much space as a deck of cards! It's amazing how small it really is, so I snapped a photo next to the lighter for perspective. Great little space saver but big protection.

ok I've actually tried it and it seems to work just as well as any other mylar emergency blanket. The only difference and why should I choose this over other comforters? It's large compared to the competition (60" x 96") compared to the standard (50" x 80"). The only downside is that I feel like these blankets let through a lot of air - in general - so it's best to wrap someone in it.
