The design of this case is really awesome. You don't have to sacrifice security just because you have a keyboard. My only concern with this case design is that it opens up part of the iPad when the keyboard is in use, where dust and dirt can get in and scratch the closed surface. I understand the keyboard needs that clearance to stay flat, but I'd welcome at least some thin fabric or protection.

Why does this product exist? It's totally and utterly useless! I wanted a plastic back for my iPad that would protect it when I took the keyboard case off. This case snaps onto the keyboard case. So when you remove the keyboard case it stays with it and offers no additional protection. Also, the pen holder doesn't fit and prevents you from attaching it properly. Complete and complete failure of the product! I return.

Great protection and not too bulky :) Great idea for a case, except it does NOT work with the latest Apple Smart Folio Keyboard. The three small pins that tell the iPad it's connected to the keyboard are blocked by the case itself, so you can't use the keyboard and wear the case at the same time. I hope for a new version that solves this problem!

I have just received this cover which I bought as a gift for my mother. The description isn't accurate and doesn't even cover the full 12.9-inch iPad Pro. 3rd generation still the bottom of the keyboard. Your description makes it look like a full Ismart keyboard cover and it's the least protection I've seen. It even says Halo for iPad on the box. I'm also disappointed that the pads don't stick to magnets, although you point out that the second version has them. I will not and will not put it on

It's a simple, minimalist design that offers your iPad protection that the Apple keyboard case alone doesn't offer.
