Not for long.: Water Filters and Softeners

These filters do their job, but they significantly reduce water pressure in the home. In just 1 month we need to replace the filter to have enough water pressure to shower and flush the toilet.

Good business! Works well as a whole house filter!

I used this filter all over the house not knowing if 5 microns would restrict the water flow. In the past I have only used 1 micron sediment filters for my entire home filter. This product works great and I feel better knowing that this product filters out dirt greater than 1 micron. I can't tell any difference in water flow. I am very happy!

The description of this item clearly states that it is a "Whole House" filter. The item received is marked "Fridge Filter Cartridge". picture attached. Be sure to check what you get on the list before using it. Be very sure that an Amazon listing you are relying on to make a purchase decision is not manipulating key phrases to present itself as something it is not. growing and worrying fear of buying through Revain.

can not remove seal, 1-2 mm longer than

it was about 2 mm longer, I flooded the kitchen several times to mount it. I got soaked and bought them early as I was using the last one I had. Although it says they have a 6 month return, I have 3 months now and Revane says the return window is closed. I'll be back at Walmart, I'm a bit upset as I bought a four pack and the hard top kept me from removing the padding to fit. $30 off and if I look up the part number it fits my system even though its size doesn't.

These filters work great

Most people don't understand how to tell if a water filter is working. Pour water into a glass and then leave it on the counter, the longer the better. Then do a taste test, if your water tastes awful you need a water filter. Install a water filter and repeat this test. If you don't feel anything while drinking, the water filter has done its job. Arrived bubble wrap (each filter), then nicely in a box, then in a Revain box!

So I ordered a few packs of the 1 micron filters that we use around the house. To us, the difference between 1 micron and 5 micron filters is CLEARLY visible. Our water and ice is much clearer at 1 micron and is a lot YELLOW in color (especially in a white plastic cup). I didn't rate the taste as it will be another 2-3 months before I test this filter.
