Today the wind withstood 40-50 m/s. Make sure your windshield faces the wind, but overall you're happy with the product. Can be difficult to set up by one person in strong winds but is generally doable.

My wife bought this for my new truck as it is parked outside. This saved me so much time in the mornings - instead of standing in the cold shoveling snow and ice off my windshield, I just shake it off, throw it in the back seat and go!

Look out for the magnetic strips that stick them to your car. My F350 truck has a compass on top of the truck and it screwed up the compass bearings so I can't use it. It worked perfectly to keep it on the windshield. I had to recalibrate the compass so I don't use it.

Not what the description says, the magnets are weak, they didn't even hold on to the hood of my truck, it comes with straps to hold it to the front wheels and it says nowhere only has 4 magnets and 2 straps. I wanted a magnetic lid and got what everyone else has, don't waste your extra money, not worth it

I live in northern Michigan near Lake Michigan. Terrible winds blow from the lake. When the wind is NOT blowing, this cover will work as advertised. BUT. When the wind gets stronger, it turns into a sail! Needs LOTS more magnets at the top. Three just doesn't fit! It should have LOTS more magnets on the top, bottom, and sides! I would pay MORE for additional magnets!

When I bought the ice grate, I had the impression that I would never scratch the glass again. I was wrong. The snow fell wet. I could take it off and not scratch it the first morning. On the second morning, however, there was a thin layer of solid ice on the windshield under the pane. It was very difficult to let go. I drive F150. Difficult to get to the windshield. It would be nice to have something that works.

This product does not match the description. The cover is too small for my 2015 Ford Super Duty windshield. The magnets are so weak that they won't hold, only reaching one side of the windshield. It's thin and easy to pack in a truck. It leaves gaps at the bottom of the windshield and doesn't cover the wipers. The seat belts are very thin. This case isn't worth the $50 (including postage) I paid for it. Works well on my compact car and minivan but not on my truck.

This is the best cover I have ever used. I was a little concerned it might be painful to endure, but I wore it every day after coming to work. It cools the interior of the car very well and is perfect for my 2015 GMC 2500HD. So far I've only used it for the summer side. I've had many compliments on how much cooler it was in the car compared to others using foil panels that fit in the car. Update: I'm going into my second summer and it's still holding up great. Yes, this will prevent snow from getting on the windscreen. But the claims of the "Magnets" remain. the weakest and cheapest magnets this manufacturer could find. Nice breeze, and those magnets are as useless as that ugly sweater Aunt Lulu gave you. The bungee straps seen on screen are ridiculous. 3 uses and the elasticity was gone, as was the elasticity of my high school underwear after the atomic wedge. It keeps the snow off your windshield. I'm not saying it can't be done. The marketing hype
