DO NOT BUY. This is an awful product. Delivered on January 29, 2020 and broke on March 3, 2020. Tried to return but this window closed on February 28th. Just in time to show itself as scrap. I was forced to give at least 1 star but I tried to put 0 stars.

The first set of spikes I bought made me feel like I was attaching old fashioned inline skates to my boots. It completely changed my center of balance. These spikes don't look like them at all. They fit well and are secure. Very easy to install and remove. The spikes are effective without making me feel like I'm wearing platform shoes.

The product works very well when walking on ice, does not slip, does not slip and does not fall. I ordered the LG/X and the grips fit my size 11 cushioned boots very well. I ordered a product with straps because I didn't want the grips to come loose. The straps were too short to fit around an insulated boot. They will work if the length is about 2-3 inches longer.

I've only worn it three times on snow and ice so far, but I really like it. they stay on my boots! Even without the included straps, they held tight and never slipped off. I really like the wide heavy rubber construction! many very long spikes dig into the ice. I walk about four miles on icy roads and trails on each ride. I hope the rubber lasts long as it's always the weak link.

I often fall on an icy road, mostly while shoveling snow. I've tried so many of these products that claim to offer ice grip. This product is the best I have found. Rubber easily attaches to boots and shoes, and tungsten grips don't slip at all. They make a crackling noise when you walk on sidewalks or concrete, so I think they can be noisy when walking in public places. Great product for my needs. Many Thanks.

They are good in many ways. They're easy to put on and take off, but are secure even without the included extra foot lift strap. They have tiny steel tips firmly embedded in the rubber. Although I didn't use a sling, last week I walked safely and securely over the fresh block of ice and snow left by Hurricane Gale, even with a feral dog pulling on the leash like he's training for the Iditarod. I have had other brands of shoe grip accessories over the years but these are the best for ease of use

As our winters become more ice than snow due to climate change, I've tried several iterations of traction on ice over the past few years. They are easy to put on and if you buy with a strap they stay secure. Spikes perfectly stick to any slippery surface and make walking easier. The spikes and rubber also seem to hold up better than most others I've tried.
