Description of ICF C211 BLK Clock Radio Discontinued Manufacturer

This attractive AM/FM clock radio makes getting up as pleasant as it can possibly be, and the sound from the 2-1/2 speaker's so clear, you may find yourself using it more and more just for listening. The 0.9 Easy-to-See LED Display takes into account those of us with myopia, whose glasses may be put away somewhere. The AM/FM tuner features AM wide band reception all those extra stations in the recently expanded AM band. FM reception ranges between 76.0 > 108MHz, and AM range is 530 > 1710kHz. Easy operation single function keys make short work of time-setting, alarm preference (radio or buzzer), and so forth

Great little radio clock

When I tried this compact radio clock, I was thoroughly impressed with its sound quality and user-friendly interface. Its the perfect size for a nightstand or small space and the clock display is easy to read. The radio tuner is also impressive and picks up a wide range of stations..

Pros
  • High-quality sound, user-friendly interface.
Cons
  • Discontinued by manufacturer.

Sony sells the same crap 13 years later

You'll never know we're in the 21st century when you buy Sony products. I don't know of any product other than the full line of Sony clock radios with analogue radio tuners. This radio was good around 2000, but today it's a shame to sell it for $20. Just 10 years ago, Sony made Dream Machine radios with pretty good tuners. It works well for what it is, but for around $20 you should have a digital tuner and be done with it, including other features. A backup battery is very important and only a…

Pros
  • FM reception range is 76.0 > 108MHz and AM range is 530 > 1710kHz
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
