Doesn't work as promised.

This tent has been a disappointment. From the first time we opened it, we've been unable to collapse it properly. (We tried to follow the instructions to no avail.) We also tried to use it at the beach, and it wouldn't stay upright, even with the stakes inserted. We bought the tent as a gift for my father because of the good reviews, but we seem to have a gotten a dud. I'll include a photo of me trying to collapse it and utterly failing! (I'm typically handy, so this was a bummer.)

Pros
  • Lightweight and portable
Cons
  • Mesh windows can compromise privacy and security

Pop up Cabana in my review

We ordered this pop up cabana to use on a trip to the beach this weekend. Even though we haven't used it yet we have set it up and checked it out. I learned it has some features I wasn't aware of and expect it to be a great asset on our outing.

Pros
  • Video
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other beach shade options

Return window is closed now so I Wasted my money

This thing is so difficult to fold back up. I wound up folding it wrong to get off the beach and now it won't stand up straight. Return window is closed now so I Wasted my money

Pros
  • ‎21.5 x 21.5 x 3 inches
Cons
  • Blue color might not be aesthetically pleasing to everyone

Tent flexes a lot under strong wind

This tent works ok in mild breeze, but like several other reviewers say,on a windy day the tent will deform and flex around quite a bit. This is probably because the flat raw steel posts used that are meant to be easy to twist and fold, that's the same reason that makes them vulnerable to flex around in strong wind.If you have filled up all the sand pockets, and wind is 16mph or less, the sand pockets will help keep the tent in place even while the flat steel posts flex around under wind…

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • May not fit comfortably in crowds or busy beach areas

Doesn't stay up best in my review

This didn't even stay up on a windy day at the beach. Even with the rope and stakes to hold them down the whole pop up tent did not stay up. It kept falling and didn't keep its shape. I definitely do not recommend this to use for a beach day. Maybe just a pop up at the park with "no" wind.

Pros
  • ‎X-Large
Cons
  • Difficult to store in small spaces
