Sleek, solid color, snug fit and designed to stay in place

I'm familiar with spats, having used them for many years delivering mail in the snow. It is very good. Hard wearing, waterproof, constructed to stay in place, all in a beautiful black colour. I think they are made for people with pretty slim legs. I'm a woman and I have rather slender legs and they suit me. If you have medium to large calves, they may be too tight.

Excellent Lightweight Gaiters

This is a very light legging that is perfect for my purposes. I don't have to trudge through deep snow for miles, but I do have to regularly walk knee-deep in snow on my Minnesota property, and without it, the snow slides into my boots, leaving my ankles cold and wet. Once I had these gaiters, I attached the bottom strap (first time is all you need - just leave it attached), insert your heel into the strap, bring the gaiters forward and fasten the Velcro. Excellent ankle protection.

I bought these to use for various tasks e.g. B. Hiking in bushy areas with shorts, using a herbivore with shorts, protection from dirt in low-ankle shoes and boots in dusty or muddy areas. I have a large yard and when I use the herbivore and the grass is a little wet they keep the cut grass and dirt from sticking to my bare legs or pants. Bad materials, good design.

I bought these as a quick and cheap temporary replacement for a pair of $80 leggings that didn't fit my new boots. I use gaiters for mountaineering and only wear them 90% of the time while sliding. I bought these because I liked that they had an elastic band at the bottom to prevent snow from getting into the gaiters from below. Unfortunately this is a useless feature as the entire lower black part of the gaiters is not waterproof. Water and light can easily pass through. Also, the straps that…
