We got it for $12 and it was worth it. My 11 year old was a good learner and could do tricks with ease. I would say it would work for a kid aged 8+ as some of the tricks are messy or a bit more difficult but overall I'm very happy with it. So if your expectations of realistic "magic and illusion" are at a child's level, you'll be happy. Don't expect anything overwhelming, just cute and funny.

What they show you in a couple of pictures, a magic box, you don't really get. You get a bunch of stuff in a plastic bag which means if you buy it as a gift you can't give it away because you don't have the box and it looks like you're very mean and a bit damaged. It sucks if there's no honesty in the listing. It would be better if they immediately communicate what you will buy and receive.

I was very happy to get this for my daughter who loves to learn new tricks and it's easy to do one Having a box that she can do magic tricks was one of the reasons I chose this one. My daughter has several different magic tricks but as they didn't come with a box they are lying around in her room and many pieces are lost. Very disappointed when it arrived in a plain postal box with tricks in a plastic bag.
