The hole in the handle is too narrow for the hook. You have to tilt, maneuver and wiggle the wiper to get the hook through the hole. Otherwise, the squeegee will only settle at the tip, causing gaps and slopes, and then fall off 99% of the time. No one in your family is going to waste time maneuvering this thing, so it's always going to be on the ground.

I ordered two shower scrapers. I had to replace one because the suction cup wasn't sticking to the wall. The one I got in exchange didn't work either. I smeared it with petroleum jelly hoping it would create suction. it does not work. I have one on the floor now. What am I doing wrong? Is it possible to get another suction cup without returning the entire product? I was going to order two more for my daughters but I doubt the suction cups will not stick to the shower wall. I really wanted this scraper but it has some design flaws. Here's what I found, in no particular order. 1. The hole in the handle for hanging the wire loop is too small, making it inconvenient to hang on the hook.2. The handle is too thin for the size of the wiper, making it inconvenient to use.3.
