IDOMIK Pet Recovery Suit: Perfect Solution For Post-Op Care Of Dogs & Cats Review

I bought this as an extra outfit for my puppy after she was spayed. It fit her nicely at first and was so great to have. However, after just 2 washes the velcro part (which is not a strong velcro) curled so badly that she could get it off easily. I washed in cold water, with just her other outfit (I bought from the vet). I hung it up to dry, it never went in the dryer.I wish I could recommend this but I can't. The one I got from the vet has snaps on it and works so much better.

This is an amazing alternative to a cone, post-surgery! I'm so glad I got this for my pup . it's super soft & comfy + rolls up & fastens for potty time! Billie loves it & she got so many compliments lol. HIGHLY recommend for post-surgery or any reason to prevent licking across the belly. Got size Medium for 14 lbs maltipoo.

I ordered one of these for my male Labrador undergoing his manhood operation. This PJ ( as I referred to them) was the greatest asset to his recovery. He knew it was going to be on 24/7, and it gave him something between himself and his stitches. I eventually bought 2 more pair. This is ESSENTIAL…. a soft cone and pajamas made his recovery much, much easier…❤️

The application I used the surgical suits for was after spaying. I with the am very unsatisfied with the workmanship and design of them. They DID NOT keep my dogs from getting to their surgical sites thus my dogs licked their incisions causing inflamation and infection. I had to purchase antibiotics for them costing even more money. The "velcro" strip tore off the suit. The fabric stretched when it got wet allowing the dogs to get to their surgery sites. I do not reccomend this surgical suit…

Our dog was personally frustrated by this suit. i would say try it but have the cone as a back up which we had to do . It also gets very smelly and you will want to wash it so if you are going to use it you may want one for when you wash it.

My pup had surgery to neuter him. He had a few complications so he had 2 wounds, one was a bit bigger than a usual neuter wound. We bought this to protect his incision while it healed. It is nice fabric, soft, and not super hard to put on. Pup was between sizes so I ordered up, but it was still a little small for him. The second day, I found him licking by pushing the fabric around his hind legs aside. This product did not serve its intended purpose for us.

Straps too long I sewed them shorter, besides that it was ok. It was comfortable for our golden doodle, surgery healed properly. Only thing is I won’t be able to use it again, it started to open holes a d straps don’t attach properly anymore, so I will will dispose after he’s stitches are removed.

My dog could not escape from this shirt and it is easy to open for bathroom business. I hand washed and dried. Changed her shirts daily. No after surgery infection. I am keeping for future use, if needed. Beats the cone of shame.

I ordered an XL because my dog was right on the boundary of sizes and it says to size up. Well, the waist straps on that were comically too big. There was no way I was going to be able to get it tight enough to hold the fabric in place and prevent her from licking her spay incision. So I returned it and got a medium. The waist straps are STILL too big and the split in the two parts of the fabric is literally right where her incision is. I'm very confused how this is supposed to work for…

Our dog needed this after being spayed, and it worked seemingly well the 1 day we got to use it. The fabric near the front leg hole tore away from the yellow edging. It's just not very stretchy. This is a size Medium bought for a 29 lb. beagle puppy.

I got this for my 65lbs Rottie because she just got Spayed. It covers her belly perfectly. She doesn't have to wear a cone because of this. Definitely size up though because I got her the XL and it's still kinda snug on her. Especially around the neck/Front legs.
