It does what I bought it for

I had the amp mounted on top of the cabinet ie slightly lower than the cabinet. The straight power cable sticks out further. This adapter allowed me to place the amp about an inch and a half closer to the wall. It's almost level now. Works great.

place electronics close to wall

This was perfect for getting the Emotiva a little closer to the wall. The supplied power cord was thick so I had to hold the amp quite a distance from the wall when plugged in which meant it was sticking out a lot above the cabinets. This worked great, allowing me to move everything closer to the wall.

"Top ", "Bottom ", "Left " and "Right " can be confusing, choose based on the picture.

Product works exactly as intended. I read in some reviews that the directions (e.g. top, bottom, left, right) were mislabeled, but this may be due to the orientation of the power adapter on your device. I recommend looking closely at the picture and using the picture and not the label to determine which direction you need. For example, I ordered an "Up" adapter for my computer lying on its side. If I stood the computer upright, the connector would face down.

For use with Boss guitar amp

When used on a guitar amp, the power cord doesn't protrude and I can easily place the case on top of the guitar amp. Also helps in tight spaces. I have all guitar cables with 90 degree plugs behind the amp for the effects loop and footswitch. Also, I can actually put a solid state amp next to a wall to play at low volume in a tight space. My issue was the space for the amp and I wasn't planning on using it on a TV. The device has a good length when plugged into the socket, which should also…
