Works great well done

Seals holes well keeps dust out. Exactly what I was looking for in my garage for a mesh AP router. I have a lot of extras which means I have no excuse not to use them indoors. I had no trouble removing them, but I don't use the ports I plugged in very often. If you're thinking of daily delete and replace, I'd look for something with a big delete tag.

Fits nice and snug; Perfect

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the fit. I've only tried one so far and it's perfect for a female port. I have security cameras that go outside and I wanted something that would protect the RJ45 connector from bugs and moisture and it seems to be working. However, you probably still don't want to pour water on it, but it's a lot better than leaving the port open. Good.

Pros
  • AV Accessories
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

These little dust caps come in very handy. I often install commercial and home Ethernet networks where dust becomes a problem over time. I use them to cover unused RJ45 ports on patch panels, switches, routers and unused keystone jacks. They work great. I had no problems inserting or deleting. For people who have. I have no idea what you could be doing wrong, but you're probably tying them to an RJ45 port.

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
