This coil is supposed to be a replacement for the original but it is not. The angle at which the pins meet the motor magnet will not match directly, so there will be no spark.

It worked fine but the spark plug wire was about 3 inches shorter and no spark plug boot was included so I had to rebuild my old one. I hope this works for a long time.

Completely wrong information. Adding to Amazon listing to match the part number box I received shows the correct coil with the part number inside which was low quality junk. The distance between the mounting screws is 1/4 inch and there is no end. Save yourself the trouble, shop elsewhere

Overall everything is fine. The ignition wire is a little shorter, but that's not a problem. The location of the connector forced me to re-route the wire around the starter motor so it could reach it, but that was also a minor issue. The rest of the unit is good. It was the best price then.

be made a few centimeters longer in order to reduce the load on the plug connection and also to better not be able to rest on hot engine surfaces. Other than that, it looks well made and was a perfect [screw location] match for my Ariens mower [19hp engine].
