Accurate speed sensor.

Accurate speed sensor. It is very difficult to install with the rubber bands provided for someone with large hands and fingers, I had to ask my daughter to help me and it took about 10 minutes to maneuver. to get it around the wheel hub

Pros
  • Trial period during the year
Cons
  • Security

Good product for sports and outdoor accessories

Still satisfied with the product. I attached it to the rear hub to track speed and mileage on my trainer at home. Works great although I've found that when I use it with the IGPSPORT bike computer it shows an increase in elevation without moving from my seat in my living room. never mind

Pros
  • Great for me

Super easy outdoor accessory

Super easy to install and connect to my IGS50E bike computer in seconds. I live in the Pacific Northwest and many of my routes have thick overhangs and/or steep cliff faces that make it difficult to get a GPS fix. With a speed sensor I can get more reliable speed data no matter what the GPS is doing.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Compatibility

Just what the doctor ordered

My iGPsport 50E computer was giving erratic speed readings until I added this speed sensor. If you drive outdoors most of the time, you probably don't need a speed sensor. However, most of my rides are under dense tree cover, which somewhat blocks GPS reception. Now all is right with the world and I'm happy again.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Null

Works very well

Once installed, it was easy to set up with my bike computer (iGPS10). Straps to attach to the base. I can't offer an easier way to install it. Eventually I can use it as a cadence sensor since it's easy to switch to a crank and set it up on the computer.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Functionality

SPD61 does not work.

Hello, I bought the SPD61 sensor but the sensor does not turn on and my GPS IGS50E does not recognize it. Try replacing the battery with a new one and it doesn't work either, the flashing lights won't turn on and the GPS can't find it to connect, but the cadence sensor works great. What solution can you offer me as I live in Bogotรก, Colombia and I have no possibility to return the goods? Many Thanks.

Quick Start: Electronics & Gadgets

mounted on the rear hub of my road bike during a home workout. In combination with an online training site like zwift, the IGPsport speed sensor is activated immediately with the first spin of the wheel with an Ant+ key in close proximity to the speed sensor. I haven't tried pairing it with my IGPsport50 GPS computer. To do this, the speed sensor must be mounted on the front wheel hub. I find this app redundant as the speed is already determined by the computer's GPS.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Guard

Accuracy and Reliability

I've been using this sensor for about a couple of months and it has met my expectations. Both speed and distance were extremely accurate. Despite the fact that I installed the sensor on the rear hub contrary to the instructions (installing the rear hub allows you to switch from the trainer to the road without changing the sensor), there was no drop in performance. Installation was easy and pairing with a computer was quick and easy. Considering the price, this is excellent quality.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Absolutely awful product

First install this teddy bear. Be very careful with the instructions because if you install the battery incorrectly you will have to remove it. I was only working with my wife so we had 4 hands and with 2 screwdrivers to stretch the strap properly we were able to fasten it. After that it was really terrible. It sensed my speed for about 30 seconds and then turned off completely. My phone (with bluetooth) was about 1 inch from the bike (bike) tire the whole time. I guess it's time to try another

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
