connection, connection, what do you have, function!

Best thing I've bought in a long time. He deserves five stars. Until I bought this I had problems with HUD blocks. They didn't work in my 2014 Honda CRV. Why? Because these aftermarket HUD devices do not follow standard OBD2 port rules. Pin type and plastic body construction. This cable was built with a flexible connection. Allows connection of different types. The HUD has issues, it was and is worth the low price.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Almost never

We use T-Mobile Sync Up and Drive mobile devices in all of our vehicles. These devices connect to the vehicle's OBD2 port. But several times we knocked the device out with our knee when getting in or out. This cable was used to remotely mount the Sync Up device in a hard-to-reach location. The rectangular plug is attached to the car. This offers a very low profile and keeps the cable out of the way.

Works for me in code readers and scanners

I have two cars, a 2011 Silverado and a 2018 Lexus LC. I control both with additional sensors on my phone powered by an OBD device - ScanTool LX. The OBD port on the truck is on the front edge of the dash and is horizontal so I can see the device and LEDs when plugged in. On a Lexus, the OBD connector is tucked deep on the very edge of the dashboard and faces down so the OBD device is not visible. I bought this extension cord and some velcro and installed the OBD device under the dash where I…

Pinouts and Wire Colors

I bought this cable because I was fitting a remote start that required splicing from the OBD2 connector so instead of dealing with the hassle and risk of splicing the car wires, which I chose to connect and then to connect to the OBD2 port. I couldn't find any documentation on which wire colors correspond to which pins, so I cut and tested each one. For those who want to do the same, I found the following: Red = Pin 3, Orange = Pin 4, Yellow = Pin 5, Green = Pin 6, Blue = Pin 7, Gray = Pin 9…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

  • There are new competitors

Great product so far works well with high power chip and easier to achieve!

I use it like an extension! I'm disabled I'm transitioning from a wheelchair to the driver's seat in my van I don't have a lot of torso, I'm more like an ATV but I get on with it pretty well so it's definitely great for people with or even those with disabilities‼️ makes it much easier to access your computer's port and so far my performance chip works with it and I'm going to try my new bluetooth OMD reader. I have no idea if it even works! But I'm sure it is! Don't buy a splitter, it's…

Compatible with Openflash tablets

I drive a 2013 FRS and have been tuning my car for years thanks to Openflash Performance. I can confirm that this cable works with an Openflash (OFT) tablet for this platform. Unlike some other cables I've seen or tried, I believe this cable is OEM quality (cable thickness, strength and quality of the plastic on the connector) so it looks like the high quality connector and cable that came with OFT. The cable that comes with the OFT is of the regular type so it sticks straight down from the…
