Does exactly what it is designed to do and does it well

Simple, well designed, and priced accordingly. This is is very quick way to extend the storage of your Android phone. I user it with 64 GB Micro SD cards. Speeds on read and write are good

  • Does not work for reading LG V20.
Cons
  • Works sometimes, sometimes doesnt work. Eh.

Broke at first use. Does not work with S7 phone.

This device broke at first use. The case separated and the circuit board fell out. To make matters worse, it does not work with a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone, despite the fact that this phone is listed in the description.

  • Used it to upload my Pix from my cameras SD Card through my Tablet and onto Facebook......

GET IT! It saves so much freakin time.

Love this thing. very lightweight, durable, and moves my files SO FAST compared to bluetooth! I can't recommend this enough. I've had it for a couple months now and I'm loving it. There's nothing better than freeing up 20 GB of videos in less than 7 minutes.

Not for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

My Galaxy S7 Edge phone rejects this USB cardreader. That is hugely upsetting since I had bought it specifically to play back and save recordings from my dash cam.Note: no idea why this is not labeled "verified purchase" : I.bought this on amazon.com in October 2016. It works fine with the tablet, but it is the phone that I carry with me, not the tablet.

  • Exactly what I needed to check my game camera cards on my phone.

  • Didnt work at all no inside parts dont buy

Works great with USB-C may not work with micro on some devices

Great for reading SD cards with USB-C. Tried it on an android phone using USB-micro and phone said the something about power requirement and would not read the card. Not a big deal for me since I am using USB-C but may be of concern for others. I use it to retrieve trail cam pictures and it is very useful and fits in pocket well.

Pros
  • It works! 4 stars for not fitting into the phone's jack without removing the case.
Cons
  • dont like that it does not work with a case
