Love this film in film photography

I always have a few rolls on hand when I need a black and white image. I'm definitely not disappointed with the Ilford XP-2.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Ilford XO-2 Super 400

The sharpest black and white film you can buy. Good value for money if the C-41 can be developed in remote areas. Better than any Fuji or Kodak film from a respected old English company. My choice for black and white movies!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Reliable

Suitable for storing a set of chemistry

This is the second film I have shot on. When I shot him the second time, I liked him. I shoot in low light at around ap:2 at 1/30 second and get decent shots of brighter bars. So like medium low light. It works great with my C41 kit which is why I bought it. I think it's great for those who develop their own film so you can take black and white photos and develop them with one set of chemicals.

Pros
  • Not only suitable for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are defects

My First Photo This film was recommended to us by a college teacher and it has been my favorite black and white film ever since. Blacks are deep and clear and easy to develop, but the price has doubled over the last 20 years as DSLRs have become more popular. If you're shooting with a film camera and need black and white film, this is probably the best of the…
