Imation 3.5-Inch DS-HD IBM PC Formatted - Discontinued Legacy Storage Solution Review

I use these in MDR data loggers connected to my Yamaha organs. I haven't received them yet, my friend in Kansas will send them to me. I am in the Philippines. I have 3 Yamaha Electone organs, 2 EL-87 and HS-6.

All 10 discs were delivered quickly, formatted correctly for me and all had blank colored labels. The only thing that they weren't in the original packaging didn't bother me though.

Boy I thought I'd never need them again. I bought an old Baby Lock embroidery machine that stored its files on 3.5 floppy disks, so I found myself on Revain.com looking for them. Needless to say, they work perfectly!

I bought these to use in our processors for devices at work to back up our systems. The trusty old floppy has made it. They were cheap and easy to get from Revain instead of running across town and getting frustrated because nobody is wearing them anymore ;)

This was exactly what I needed. My sewing/embroidery machine uses this type of disc that allows me to embroider. There must be others who need these discs for what I do. At least now I have enough to use the new designs for future use.

Nothing to say other than they do what they are supposed to do flawlessly. They had a batch of them that was about 10 years old that had been thrown around a lot and so a lot of them had disk failures. I needed some new ones for my Net110 course I was taking online to do my coursework and they did exactly what I needed with no errors.

I needed a floppy disk to update the BIOS and install the SATA drivers, but I didn't have a floppy disk. I used one of those floppy disks with a USB drive and it worked on the first try. While I don't think I'll need that many disks, if I need to buy more I will definitely return to this product. No fancy colors, no fancy designs, just black and silver. Ideal for business environment.

I still use MS DOS. After 30 years of writing full-time - 20 years of writing as a lawyer - this is quick and easy for me. Don't worry, I can work in any program. I CHOOSE to work in MS DOS. People can't just edit what I write when I send it to them. Information is stored perfectly on these discs, and I can archive exactly what's on each disc with a one-page printout that I keep in my What's on the Discs alphabetical notebook. I actually need MORE of this now!
