I can't tell you how many of those flimsy jewel cases have cracked - very annoying. Very bad quality. I also don't know about the ones that come with blank CDRs. The slim cases I've had with audio CDs in the past (mostly imported singles) have had no problems and have been used frequently. But those 3Ms and the ones that come with most blank CDRs are terrible. I would stick with regular jewelry boxes or buy a binder if you don't mind the ease with which they break.

I'm surprised the reviews on the cases were so bad. Luckily, my experience with it is much better. I've never had a crack and they seem to hold up well in the summer heat if I leave them in the car. These cases are as fragile and lightweight as a standard CD case. The reason I would take them is because the color brings a little bit of life to my music collection (no, really!). However, I got them for free with the purchase of a 50-pack Imation spindle, so I wouldn't pay more than a few bucks…
