📼 IMATION T-160HSS3 Tape Deck: Convenient Pack of 3 for Maximum Performance Review

Initially I gave a high rating because the product was delivered quickly. However, after recording a few shows and rewinding the tape, all 3 tapes had problems. The rewinding process caused the tape to go astray and the recordings became "unviewable". I tried rewinding the tape manually but it didn't work. I understand VHS technology is fading but I still enjoy recording a show or two and can easily remove the tape and move it from room to room while I fix it.

I know it's hard to believe I'm still using a VCR with today's technology. As long as it doesn't break I don't need the extra expense of a DVR - it should be noted - these 8 hour videotapes fit my purpose and I'm grateful they're still available. These cassettes are great.

Not a very good buy. I was expecting real, high quality TDK tapes, not regular cheap tapes that break almost instantly. These tapes don't have the TDK logo like real TDK tapes and these tapes had recording and rewinding problems for days which wouldn't happen if they were real high quality TDK tapes. It was a waste of time and money. I am extremely disappointed. Even the jackets themselves look like copies.

I'm one of those people who still likes to record TV shows onto VHS tapes to watch later. I don't save shows, I overwrite them. That's why I bought this product. My last VCR (Panasonic PV-V4022, which I still own but don't use anymore) had an LP function. I could get four hours out of a typical two hour tape. Well my current DVD/VCR combo has no LP and when I record to tape in extended play mode or SLP function the picture quality degrades. So I have to use the default game or the SP feature…
