made my phone inoperable

I hate leaving 1 star reviews but when a product doesn't work at all - I mean not even a little bit - what other choice is there? Don't waste your time/money with this splitter. Mine didn't work right out of the box. I've tried every possible way to get it working, but the thing is, it just doesn't work. It doesn't let a phone signal through, it doesn't even beep, so you can just unplug your phone. You get the same result and it doesn't cost you any money.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • old

My phone had a small disturbance on the line and.

My phone had a little interference on the line and it wasn't that you couldn't hear the person on the other end but you knew there was interference. Also, our phone jack only had a slot for a phone or a modem, not both. When I plugged this in, the static electricity disappeared immediately. Whether this was the Splitter's work or something else I found out later. I think it's the splitter. And now I have the ability to have a phone and modem in the office without having to reconnect!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Modern

I used to connect my DSL. I've always had to have a splitter that goes into the phone jack for the phone cord and the phone cord for the DSL modem. This solved my problem in seconds. I still like my landline and have DSL Internet. I always had to plug a splitter into the jack so one cable goes to the phone and the other to the modem. Sometimes the little splinter popped up, what a nuisance. This solved my problem. It works, I like it, I'd like to know if something like this has happened before.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Wait too long

Exactly what I need!

My other DSL splitter broke when my cat got stuck on it and destroyed the house! (For some reason I only have one phone line in my house) Normal splitters will not work with both the modem cable and the phone cable. This DSL splitter with noise filter was my indispensable replacement. A hole for telephone line. a hole for the modem cable. In addition, the company had a very fast regular delivery! (Note: You don't see this in the photos, but I think this one will hold up better as the "cable…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Speed
