We used it to scare away crows from nearby trees. We laid him on his back on the ground when the crows started flocking to the trees. They usually stay for a few hours but leave within 30 minutes of placing the bait. It seems to work!

The handmade quality seemed pretty damn good. However, the size of the "realistic" crows was too small. I was expecting a life size depiction of three crows. What I got was smaller than a healthy robin. Very disappointed. Finally sent the package back.

They are perfect for Halloween decoration, good choice as there are 3 different sizes in different poses. They have withstood the rain and still look great thanks to the natural feathers. The only complaint is that the big crow has an odd eye position, so it doesn't look as spooky as the others. :)

These crows look realistic but are small. The largest of the three is about the size of a pigeon and the other two are about the size of a parrot. They look realistic and the quality is good. I kept mine outside of this Halloween for about a month. They might be good for another year as they are not very weather resistant.

Oddly enough, we've read that turning real crows upside down will deter them. I tried it and after about 15 minutes of the scene from The Birds where probably all the crows in the area would flock to the surrounding trees and chatter about the storm, they all slowly left in groups. I love these birds very much. They look so realistic and you can attach them to anything with the wire legs. Two of them sat on my table and another sat on the trunk of a Halloween tree.
