I was pleased with the quality and size of this unit. It looks like an image, but it actually looks better holding it in your hands than looking at it on the screen. I'm not a big fan of mottled backgrounds, but this one is actually pretty good.

If the sun in April - at 45 degrees latitude (half way to the North Pole) - fades the color that easily in a month or so I would find another background to buy . If it was red and exposed to sunlight for a year or two, I would expect it. But no, it's too dark a color with minimal sun exposure. I wasn't impressed.

To be honest when I ordered this I thought I'd return it. I have several painted canvases that need to stay rolled up and are always a hassle to carry around. I needed something I could easily fold to get a similar look. That was it! This looks great compared to other brands in this price range! It doesn't look cheap like some of the ones made with tie dye - it really does look like the picture! Wrinkles disappear easily after a few splashes of water.
