Works great with my Wii and Wii U as it works on both. In terms of clarity Composite < Component < HDMI. For the Wii U you should use HDMI if you can, but for the Wii it gives you the best picture you can get. I got it in the mail and tried it. I see almost no difference. It's a bit sharper and the colors look a bit brighter. BUT it doesn't work for NES and SNES games I downloaded from Virtually Console. N64 games work fine. Look much better. When I play NES or SNES games on it, the entire screen goes black with green vertical lines flashing and the game shrinks at the top of the screen. I have to switch from it to the regular cables it came with to play my 8 and 16 bits.

Hey everyone! I have read several reviews of this cable not working with NES, SNES, SEGA and other old VIRTUAL CONSOLE games. This works, but to do this you need to go to Wii Options > Wii Settings > Display > TV Resolution and set it to EDTV or HDTV (480P). This will make all those old games work. I hope it helps.
