Handy little tool: woodworking blueprints and kits

A contour gauge is one of those tools that most people almost never need. But when you need it, there is no alternative. I like that. The plastic won't scratch delicate surfaces and the lever closure is a great idea.

A tool you didn't know you needed. :)

This VIVA LAND contour gauge is a must have. I always looked at them and eventually bought them. I have a couple of urgent needs for projects I've put on hold: cutting tile around the toilet and cutting tile around the door frame shape and corners. These two sizes, 10 inches and 5 inches, should be perfect for both. The sensor locks angles, shapes or curves securely and lets you transfer the cutting line almost perfectly. Each pressure gauge is supplied with its own Allen key for tightness…
