I have a very picky cat. Hd will starve before he eats cat food he doesn't like. And sometimes he gets bored with something he once liked. I have been feeding my Toby this product for 9 months now. He definitely freaks out every time I hit him. All I have to do is show him the unopened tube and he'll know it's time for a treatment. I will continue to have sufficient quantities in my cat supply.

I bought this because I have an older cat that I encourage to eat more. He loves it and so does my other cat. It smells "good" - really "chicken". There's a lot in the tube, so one tube is enough between two cats. I usually put half a tube in the fridge for later. I also open my cat's softgels and mix the powder with a creamy treat and he finishes it. Success!

The contents of each pack look the same. Super clear skin colored material. It has almost no smell, so let's assume there's little taste in it either. My cats took a while to get used to this but found that they like it, especially being licked by my finger rather than the tube . Worth a try if you have a cat who is reluctant to take a treat right out of your hand. IMPORTANT: Unlike some cat treats, Inaba pastes are NOT nutritionally balanced. If, like me, you're looking for a way to entice a sick cat to eat, they can't completely replace real cat food.
