We used it to hang curtain rods (light to medium weight) on all the windows in our basement. They worked really well and were easy to use. In addition, they were more economical.

These little guys are very strong. I opened the package, immediately placed one on the ceiling. After it was screwed all the way in, it didn't move. Because it seemed so strong, I hung a large glass dragonfly on it. I use one for a heavy magic sphere, four or so for some homemade lamps, and three or four to hang a room divider. I don't expect any problems at all.
