Most often they fail in sub-zero temperatures. Such a thin layer protects well from the cold in the city in winter. They are made from white cotton and contain bleach for easy cleaning.

Satisfied with the fabric I had to look for 100% cotton. I use it for everyday use and prefer it to my heavyweight fleece because it's more breathable. Fit is ok, could be better. So far there have been no major problems with size or shrinkage. I weigh 200# and wear size XL, bought a few pairs and the size is good.

This thermal underwear is not cut correctly and therefore does not fit. I weigh about 200 pounds and am 5 feet 11 inches tall. I ordered XL thermal trousers and only washed them before I put them on according to the manufacturer's instructions. However, the waist belt is raised too high; about halfway from my navy to my chest. The position of the high-waisted belt proved challenging during quick toilet stops.

I just bought a pair of these which I hated because they are narrow and don't have enough room for my stuff. I expected it to be something like the old Longjohns I wore as a kid and later when I was working outdoors in the winter. I wore these old ones when putting chains on thunder in a snow storm. These oversized base layers fit perfectly and are of pretty good quality. They fit really well under my casual jeans and the bottom cuffs keep them from riding up when I put on my boots. I wear 38w x 32d As there was no size chart I had to assume the size corresponded to the underwear I am buying and the large one would be 38w. I was wrong and the waist was too tight making very comfortable light long johns very uncomfortable. I change them to size XL and after 2 days I don't know how they fit. Nice item. The pants are soft enough, I don't know what some people say they are not soft enough? Get a women's pajama set if you want something softer. They are as soft as any long thermal underwear I've ever had. They don't have the hundreds of typical tiny square pockets woven into the fabric that you usually find on long johns, it's more of a very thin ribbed knit fabric which is exactly what I wanted and works well.
