Product works well, easy to cut on hob. My only complaint is that it could be more transparent. It's a little difficult to see the position of the pot on the burner.

Item as described, received quickly, well packaged, in new condition. We bought this item to protect the surface of our new range of induction cookers from falling when not cooking. The lining is thinner than we expected.

Bought to protect my new induction hob. Wasn't expecting this but covered the area. Will also buy a stainless steel converter plate so I can keep using my aluminum pans. Place the plate on the mat along with the pot of water to boil. In less than two minutes, May melted! After removing the pot and converter plate, I had to scrape the carpet off the cooktop.

The mat provides excellent protection against splashes and food on the glass surface of our induction hob. After the mat is wiped and removed, the hob will look like new. The thickness of the material is less than we would like, making it difficult to unfold and twist. When flattened it doesn't lie flat and shows creases and rings of material, so it might be more attractive if it were a bit thicker.

Until I found this stuff, I was using paper towels under pots and pans on an induction cooktop. The paper towel did a great job of protecting the hob from being scratched by the pan, but when cooking on high heat the paper towel burned a bit and some of that burn had transferred to the surface of the hob and had to be scraped off. with a mild scouring agent (e.g. ORIGINAL Bon Ami).
