Bought to protect my new induction hob. Wasn't expecting this but covered the area. Will also buy a stainless steel converter plate so I can keep using my aluminum pans. Place the plate on the mat along with the pot of water to boil. In less than two minutes, May melted! After removing the pot and converter plate, I had to scrape the carpet off the cooktop.
