🔄 Innovative IndusTec Polarity Reversing Rocker Maintained: Enhancing Control and Varying Directions Review

I used this to fix a broken GE polarity footswitch for to replace the holiday Christmas tree. The lights on the tree appear multicolored when the direct current flows in one direction and clear when it flows in the opposite direction. This switch is a persistent switch that allows the tree to work in both directions, even when off. I installed in a small 2x2x3 work box and connected the connectors. Works perfectly!

Nice switch and I'm guessing they tried to pre-wire it. Unfortunately it must have been crimped on Friday as when installing it 3 wires came out of the compression fitting and made a pretty good spark. So replaced the fuse, reset it and everything is fine now. I just wish the crimper gave a little more attention to detail. They were so heavily crimped that I didn't even need new fittings. I was able to put the wires back in and crimp them properly. So check your wires!

I am very happy with the reversing switch. I used a switch on a fan in my RV. I saved quite a bit of money by buying a unidirectional fan and adding this reversing switch myself. It has been pre-wired for the reverse function. The fan works the same as the higher-priced fan. If I have a DIY limitation, the shoulder on the switch is small, so firmly cut the hole where you insert the switch. Then take the time to carefully shape the hole to the desired size.
