The bottom line is that they don't have enough base to keep them from sagging in drywall. I fell perfectly and then when we put the books on the shelf it sagged forward because the base hit the drywall. I just installed rivets to keep them from falling off but they suck. Looks nice but if you don't have plaster walls I wouldn't recommend it. If they hadn't left such marks on the wall, I would have returned them.
