Love things that are different and that's it! I wondered if clear glass wouldn't be too much - I've always had matte or cream finishes. They give the rooms a lot more light, look very nice when off and don't look like "naked lightbulbs" when on.

The color is not brass or gold but a strange mustard yellow color not even metallic. I know you can spray it but my warm one is scratched too so I'll just return it. The screw holes are also larger than real screws so you can see some of the silver metal through the hole. I will return these

Overall a really good device. The base is a little smaller than the standard ceiling lights, but I just touched it up. I would have given more stars if the color was more true to life than the photos. The included "gold" ring is not real gold, it's more of a copper color or even light brown as it's not very metallic. But it wasn't anything a little spray paint couldn't fix!

It was very cute but small, so be sure to check the dimensions before buying. Installation was easy. Looks a bit cheap but very cute. I returned it because it just didn't fit the space (I replaced all the light fixtures in the closet) and because I realized glass isn't the best choice, it needs constant cleaning to keep it from looking dusty and dirty . Definitely a beautiful sight, but I've found better ones.

We have replaced very outdated frosted glass single bulbs with these bulbs to give them a more modern look. I know some people call it "Tits" but because of its modern finish and bubble glass I think it's an upgraded chest! We have redesigned our lighting with oil bronze and this is an affordable alternative. The possibility of using 2 bulbs illuminates dark places and since the light passes through the transparent glass it is very bright.

These lights look amazing. I wanted to personalize my home by replacing the standard white glass and polished brass fixtures. This "schoolhouse" style light looks really modern and looks like it belongs in my house. I appreciate the bottom of the jar being open - now I can easily change the bulbs - although thankfully this will last a long time thanks to the long lasting bulbs. Also, since the bottom of the jar is open, I don't have to worry about bugs collecting in it.
