Not what I expected.

Big, chunky and cheap looking. Excessive plastic with rough texture! The cable is physically connected to the chassis. The washer on mine didn't work properly, it slid too easily and wouldn't stay in place. It wasn't until I unscrewed the mounting rod that I discovered that one of the springs was out of place and with a little patience and a small pair of tweezers I was able to position the spring correctly and get the correct tension to hold it on Spot. like a thermal pad and heatsink, but no…

Works and fits large NVME SSDs with heatsinks attached - more GAP!

This case was exactly what I was looking for. I needed one with more GAP to install an SSD with a factory heatsink. Most other cases are too thin and won't allow you to increase the thickness of the factory installed (non-removable) heatsink - even many cases come with their own heatsink and thermal pads (which this one does). This worked great. It's nothing fancy since it's just a plastic case with no fans, vents, or detachable cables (with a fixed C-cable), but it more than makes up for that…

It worked!: Hard Drive Accessory

Purchased to clone my existing SSD to a SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS. Judging by the reviews, it was one of the few cases that actually allowed the drive to be recognized for what it is, rather than a regular USB external drive. Inserting the drive was very easy, Windows 10 recognized it as it should and we're good to go. Build quality appears to be higher than many reviews have led me to believe. Can't say anything bad about it other than the wired cable makes me really nervous about durability.

Best USB M.2 NVMe Enclosure I've Owned

I've tried several other cases and this has been the best I've had so far. However, there may be some improvements in the next version. Let's start with the good stuff and go from there. My NVMe SSD actually fits in the case, unlike another brand I've bought. It comes with a heatsink and thermal silica, just like the description says. nevertheless, it can get hot from time to time with frequent use. The enclosure is flexible and you can fit multiple NVME sizes in it (one at a time) which is…

Works well. for computers and accessories

I needed a way to transfer files from my old NVME M.2 drive to my new computer. This device worked perfectly without tools. For those interested in this product, the PC I connected it to is new ie a 2019 Asus motherboard with a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type C connector. The device uses an internal Plextor M8Pe 1 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD with Heatsink (PX- 1TBM8PeG). In summary it works well, very fast transfer speed, no tools required, case large enough to hold a drive with a factory installed heatsink.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Long wait

Pay attention to the block size.

Advantages: price, ease of installation and performance. Cons: The built-in USB NVMe controller has a block size of 4K. This caused problems when attempting to clone a local M.2 NVMe disk with a block size of 512 bytes (Intel 660p) even though the destination disk also has a block size of 512 bytes. I had to resort to sector calculations to get it right. And of course DD rules! That shouldn't happen in 2020!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Upgrades

Cheap but works well

I didn't realize that this case was made out of such cheap plastic. That's the only negative for me, I was expecting something better. Otherwise everything is great. Love the glue, heat sink, and rubber bands that come with it. I like that the latch for attaching the end of the M.2 flash drive snaps in quickly and is easy to use. All without tools. I have a new M.2 drive that didn't work in my other aluminum case. It fits, but the hard drive still shows up with errors, inaccessible in disk…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Almost everything ok
